Does Marc Marquez the Multi Motogp Champion and Champions in general , make mistakes , serious or not so serious ones ?
This question is a question which is always in my mind , because we learn from the life and the techniques of the Champions , as we learn from their mistakes , too .
So here in the Marc Marquez case , concerning his health , so many rumors and scenarios were coming all these last months . Many , who are inside the paddocks and more , knew and suspected that Marquez’s arm , had serious issues .
Marc Marquez made his 3rd Surgery and needs More Time for Recovery .
Yesterday Marc Marquez made his 3rd arm surgery and everything went ok , as i saw this morning Marc’s Twitter . The Champ is ok and well . Now he’s focused in his arm’s restoration to full power and strength , but “things are more complicated .
You know that i was ecstatic from Marquez heart’s and soul power when he returned in the race tracks the next week after his 1st surgery .
Marc back then he showed to us all , what the heart of the Champion means . He made some testings to see if he could race the sunday and he and his team desided NOT to race , but the damage has done .
What do i mean ? The bone of his arm got pressure from the G forces of a Motogp bike ( and they are many ) and this fact caused his SERIOUS restoration themes .
The Marquez’s fast comeback , caused Serious Arm Themes .
The Marquez’s arm bone isn’t growing and healing as it should . This is called arm’s pseudoarthrosis and the that maybe happened , because the plate and screws inside his arm , moved from his testing riding .
The fact is that Marquez’s bone wasn’t doing well and he needed more surgeries , to improve the situation . I wish him the yesterday’s surgery , be the last and return back as soon as possible . The doctors say that now the time of restoration will be a LONG ONE .
Marc will need 3 to 6 months and yes you imagined correctly . Marquez’s next year’s participation to the new Motogp year , is at stake . The situation is a very tough one for the Champion himself and of course his team Honda .
My humble opinion is that the first priority is the health of the person and then you comes everything else . Yes , ok millions are at stake in here for the entire Honda and Motogp area , but HUMAN LIVES come first my friends and this opinion of our , will NEVER change .
Let the Champion be well and ok and the rest will come . A legendary doctor of the Motogp area , Dr. Claudio Costa , the one who created and evoluted so much the medical area in the Motogp ( and not only ) , had a different opinion for Marquez .
Maybe the Surgical Pin , than the Plate would be better , Dr. Costa says .
Dr. Costa knows Marc from his child years and had the opinion that in these kinds of arm problems , you don’t put a surgical plate , but a surgical pin .
Dr. Costa exrpressed also his kind of bitterness because they didn’t even make a phone call to him and has the opinion that if Marc has chosen the pin , maybe “things” would be much better .
Anyway Marc Marquez is a “big boy” and he and his team made the desicion to try their posibilities for a super fast return to the tracks and that proved to be , very WRONG . But this happens in the Motorsport racing every day , every single minute .
Champions take Desicions and they are Responsible for them .
You make desicions , sometimes very fast ones trusting your instict and sometimes you lose , and sometimes you win . I know that the times of losing , this HURTS and i can imagine that Marquez is sad about all this . You know there is no worse thing you can do to a “hungry” athlete – Champion , from stopping him from race , fro stopping him from give his battles .
This stress you a lot and your house “doen’t fit you ” . You are a “Lion in a cage” and you must deal with all of that . .
